We saved you a trip to Canberra: Our political leaders come to the ACOSS National Conference 2015

The major parties are coming to you this year, with federal and state political leaders addressing the ACOSS National Conference this Friday 26 June.

This is your chance to hear directly from the major decision-makers of social policy in the major political parties. The political Leaders Spots provide an opportunity for the major parties to outline their priorities for social and economic policy and for supporting people affected by poverty and inequality in Australia.

We are delighted to announce the Hon. Scott Morrison MP representing the Prime Minister; the Hon. Bill Shorten MP, Leader of the Opposition; and Senator Richard Di Natale, Leader of the Greens will all be joining us. And welcoming everyone to NSW will be the Hon. Brad Hazzard MP.

Advancing the Common Good

The ACOSS National Conference will shine a spotlight on inequality in Australia following  the release of the new ACOSS Inequality Report.

The keynote speaker will be international anti-poverty campaigner and author Linda Tirado, fresh from her appearance on the ABC’s Q & A program on Monday night.
