We believe it is important that individual people's stories of the lived expereince of poverty and inequality play a major part in policy and advocacy. Sharing stories ensures tht individuals affected can be agents for change that will impact them, and inspire decision makers to better understand the complex issues impacting policy outcomes. ACOSS seeks to publish people's stories and is often asked by government and media to share these stories. If you ahve a story you would like to share with ACOSS, the media or other decision makers let us know at email@example.comShare your story

Strength lies in numbers. ACOSS' research and publications contribute to our understanding of poverty and inequality in Australia and the solutions we need to tackle them. To succeed in our advocacy on these issues, we need a large community of people who understand the true picture of poverty and disadvantage and who support action for a fairer Australia.
Share our reports with your networks and help us lead the conversation about how we tackle poverty and inequality in Australia.
