Our Safety & Resilience services are delivered across Victoria and New South Wales and include integrated family and youth services, a range of family violence response services, counselling and case management for children, young people, women and families and support for those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness (including refuge accommodation for women and children who have experienced family violence).

We are seeking an experienced Manager who can provide supervision and support to program staff, facilitating the professional development of staff, practice leadership and manage relationships and partnerships, ensuring the needs of the client are paramount in all decision making.

Working closely with the National Manager – Safety and Resilience, the Manager will ensure procedures and reporting requirements are followed whilst focusing on service delivery and program development.

 To be successful in this role you will:

  • Hold qualifications in social work, psychology or a related discipline
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of people leadership and development
  • Have demonstrated experience working with and supporting women in or at risk of, family violence
  • Have a strong understanding of the complex nature and dynamic of family violence including the impact of family violence on women and children.
  • Have demonstrated commitment to social justice
